Research Highlights

• I am currently a Humboldt Research Fellow at LMU Munich, Germany
• I am also a Research Associate at the African Institute for Epistemology and Philosophy of Science, University of Johannesburg, South Africa
• I was a President’s and Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Irvine between 2023 and 2025.
• My core research interests are in epistemology , African Philosophy, Indigenous Philosophy, Philosophy of Race, and Metaphilosophy.
• I obtained my PhD in 2023 at Cardiff University, Wales.
• I have reviewed for the following philosophy journals: (1) Analysis (2) Synthese: An International Journal for Epistemology, Methodology and Philosophy of Science, (3) Episteme: A Journal of Individual and Social Epistemology, (4) Social Epistemology: A Journal of Knowledge, Culture and Policy, (5) Journal of Intercultural Studies, (6) International Journal for the Study of Skepticism, (7) Philosophy & Realistic Reflection, & (8) South African Journal of Philosophy.

• I have also recently received a book contract from Routledge for a monograph in African Philosophy: Ethnophilosophy as Decolonization in Africa: The Search for Global Epistemic Justice.
